On 25 and 26 May 2026, AGENAS hosted the 3rd Consortium Meeting of CIRCE-JA, the Joint Action for the implementation of Best Clinical Practices in Primary Care, funded by the European Union, at its headquarters in Rome, bringing together representatives from partner institutions across Europe involved in the project activities.
The two-day meeting provided an important opportunity to review the progress achieved within the different Work Packages, strengthen collaboration among partners, and discuss the next implementation steps of the Joint Action.
The meeting was officially opened by Sebastián Tornero from the CIRCE-JA Coordination Team. During the plenary sessions, project partners presented updates on coordination and management activities, dissemination strategies, evaluation processes, sustainability actions, capacity building initiatives, and pilot implementation experiences developed within the project.
A central part of the meeting was dedicated to the parallel working sessions focused on the implementation of Best Practices. These sessions enabled implementers, Work Package leaders, and Best Practice owners to exchange experiences, discuss challenges and opportunities, and reflect on sustainability perspectives and future transferability of pilot actions across different healthcare contexts.
The consortium meeting also represented a valuable opportunity to reinforce networking and cooperation among the 42 partner organizations participating in CIRCE-JA, fostering dialogue and knowledge sharing at European level.
As host institution and leader of Work Package 4 on Sustainability, AGENAS reaffirmed its commitment to supporting innovative and sustainable approaches aimed at improving healthcare services and strengthening international cooperation within the framework of European Joint Actions.
The meeting concluded with a summary of the main outcomes achieved so far and the definition of the next operational steps for the continuation of project activities.
